A Word from Rachelle Schrute

As a hunter and angler born and raised in Montana, I have the honor of doing what I love and calling it work. Whether I’m testing new hunting gear in the backcountry, scouting elk for the upcoming season, chasing trout with the latest fish stick, or covering conservation and policy news, there’s nowhere I’d rather be and nothing I’d rather be doing.

My interests include hunting, fishing, eating, wild game cooking, camping, eating, gardening, backpacking, conservation, eating, and live music of every conceivable genre.
